North Texas Lavender Festival June 26-27th

In short, a very fun festival is coming up and I want you to know about it. It is called the North Texas Lavender Festival, and it is June 26-27th, 2021, 10 AM - 6 PM at TX-Ture Farm 1833 Dr. Sanders Rd, Cross Roads TX 76227. And you can get your ticket now!

The longer version is that I love TX-Ture farm. I first went to the farm with a group of friends and our children. Breath of fresh air. It was when they first were getting started. I had never seen an alpaca before, and I definitely had never seen alpaca hair get spun into fiber. My kids learned about honey bees, gourds, and lavender planting (okay, we were all learning).

While sitting right outside the farm shop, at the picnic table with my friends and sons, I knew that this place was special and set apart. I have since been back many times and am looking forward to being a vendor at this weekend's event. TX-Ture farm is more than a fun place to visit, it has seeds of life there that really took root in my heart. My family dreams of a homestead life now, and until then, we will learn all we can from this place and visit often.

This weekend, you will be able to enjoy lavender fields (I am really looking forward to seeing these fields. We witnessed them get planted, but this will be our first harvest experience), live music, art in the barn, craft vendors, and feature artists (including ones from the Dallas Gourd Patch, one I'm putting on my list to check out).

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

I am going to focus my booth towards teaching macrame, though I will bring pieces of macrame to sell. Expect DIY kits with instructions and materials. Please let me know if there is any specific item you would like me to prepare a kit for!

A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years approached him from behind and touched the tzitzit on his robe. For she said to herself, “If I can only touch his robe, I will be healed.” Yeshua turned, saw her and said, “Courage, daughter! Your trust has healed you.” And she was instantly healed.
