Beautiful and functional, the triangular design is simple and just enough, giving the special wood all the attention it deserves.
The wood is handled by a Fort Worth-based woodturner. This thick piece of hardwood is made with Birdseye Maple wood. Birdseye is a really unusual wood and is quite attractive. It cannot be cultured or intentionally reproduced. It only occurs naturally, making it rare and special.
Not only in the wood so special, but it was also handled with great care by the woodturner. After being cut to size, the woodturner goes through many stages of sanding, ultimately reaching a 2000 grit stage, leaving an extremely smooth finish. Then the wood is sealed with three progressive layers of non-toxic beeswax.
Due to the nature of the wood, each shelf will have its own unique look and demarcations.
Display your decor, like a small plant or frame, or use it to hold your glasses and coffee. Pair two together and use them in lieu of bedside tables. Try styling a pair together, staggered, and the triangles will give the illusion of a beautiful mountain landscape. Use them for shelving to style decor in a child's room, or let it carry all of your most-used botanical essential oils.
The wood shelf is 12" by 5" by 1". The hanging hemp rope is approximately 24".
*If you ever need to clean the wood, use a gentle soap, rinse right away, and dry immediately.
