Meaningful Pesach Gift
Celebrate Pesach Passover and Resurrection Day this year with a meaningful mini tapestry. This is the perfect piece for when you want to hang something small and beautiful, and you want it to be a keepsake for years to come. Small enough for a child's hands and big enough to make a lasting impression.
Our mini tapestry Pesach gift commemorates the time in Egpyt when those who put the blood of a spotless lamb on their doorposts were saved from judgment and death. This 10th and final plague preceded the monumental exodus from Egypt. Pictured is a hand-knotted door with red blood around it. The blood is in the shape of the Hebrew letter "tav" ת. Tav means mark, sign, and covenant.
This was the beginning of an astonishing covenant relationship between Adonai and Israel. He rescued, freed, redeemed, and judged greatly on their behalf. And this day of deliverance is especially close to the Lord's heart. He remembers this deliverance; He holds a vigil every year during the celebration of Pesach Passover.
"At the end of 430 years to the day, all the divisions of Adonai left the land of Egypt. This was a night when Adonai kept vigil to bring them out of the land of Egypt, and this same night continues to be a night when Adonai keeps vigil for all the people of Isra'el through all their generations." Exodus 12:41-42 (CJB)
To add another layer of meaning, if you were to look up the paleo version of the letter tav, you would see the ancient depiction of this letter resembles a cross. If you carefully look at our two-tone door, you will also see a cross. The entire Pesach Passover story and the Hebrew language point to the ultimate Passover lamb, Messiah Yeshua Jesus. He is also the door that lets us enter the Holy of Holies and saves us from the punishment of our sins.
"I am the Door. Anyone who goes in through Me will be saved from the punishment of sin." John 10:9 (NLV).
Every year, during the Biblical Feast of Pesash Passover, the Lord holds a vigil for the descendants of Israel. And the descendants of Israel are not limited to the bloodline, for we know that every believer in Yeshua Jesus is a descendant of Isra'el. Paul makes that clear when he says,
"for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua. And if you belong to Messiah, then you are Abraham’s seed—heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:28-29 (TLV).
Use this perfectly sized Pesach gift to help you tell your children the story of Pesach Passover, remember Jesus is who it ultimately points to, and tell how the Lord holds this day sacred every year. Just as the scriptures say, on Pesach Passover
"you are to tell your son, 'It is because of what Adonai did for me when I left Egypt.'" Exodus 13:8 (CJB)
Whether hung on a wall, adorning a doorknob, on your mantle, or in your children's room, use our tapestry Pesach gift to help you know, remember, and own your deliverance. Give this Pesach gift to anyone who loves Biblical stories or needs a reminder of their divinely orchestrated deliverance through Messiah Yeshua Jesus.
