Each piece in this collection is based on a familiar shield shape, exuding strength and softness.
Nathalie's Sheild No. 1 draws from a deeply personal journey, rooted in a quest for resilience during challenging times. Each layer of this symbolic shield reflects profound biblical inspiration.
At its core, the interior layer embodies the protective embrace of eagle's wings, echoing the comforting promise of Psalm 91:4: "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge".
The subsequent layer, adorned with intricate twists and loops, mirrors the transformative power depicted in 1 Peter 1:7—an image of radiant gold forged through life's refining fires and trials. This layer serves as a reminder of the enduring beauty that emerges when faith remains steadfast.
The third layer, with its helix knots, is reminiscent of DNA. It symbolizes the divine craftsmanship detailed in Psalm 139. It speaks to the inherent strength instilled within us by our Creator. When coupled with Ephesians 2:10, a verse revealing that our life's purpose was preplanned before our existence, a source of strength emerged. This fusion of scriptures underscores our capacity to overcome adversity, with Nathalie's mantra of "I was made for this" serving as a beacon of resilience and assurance.
Finally, the outermost layer evokes a sense of softness amidst the call to be a warrior. Nathalie grappled with reconciling femininity with the demands of strength and courage. Yet, she discovered a new perspective—that true femininity encompasses bravery, strength, and a willingness to confront life's challenges with unwavering faith.
Through her collection, Nathalie invites others to embrace their own battles, knowing they are equipped with the strength and grace to endure, redefine, and ultimately triumph.
